MEMTECK R&D CENTER

Research and Development Center (R&D Center)

MemTeck’s R&D center bridges the gap between research sciences and industrial needs. MedTech’s R&D center bridges the gap between research sciences and industrial needs. As part of our commitment to providing superior water care services to our clients, we plan to work with our researchers/scientists in the fields of desalination, treatment, polymeric and ceramic membranes (RO, NF, UF, MF), water contamination (pollutant removal), material fabrication, and real-time data acquisition of water quality.  The MEM TECK R&D CENTER Water portfolio focuses on enhancing the sustainability of water resources by providing scientific and technological solutions basis for energy-efficient water desalination, wastewater (domestic and industrial) treatment and reuse and. This can be interpreted through the following strategical goals:

Strategic Goals

  • Characterize and assess water resources such as groundwater, seawater, wastewater and water at different treatment and desalination processes.
  • Assess desalination technologies in view of harsh seawater conditions of high salinity and temperature, and the trend to use the more energy efficient seawater reverse osmosis desalting system.
  • Assess treating wastewater technology and the needed processes for its reuse especially in industrial applications and non-potable applications like agriculture, etc.
  • Develop cost effective materials and energy efficient processes for desalination and wastewater treatment.
  • Development of scientific and technological knowledge in the desalination and water treatment.
  • Strengthen the collaboration with water industry and the local and regional community.
  • Provide specialized consulting services and training for different water and environment agencies
